This book is not just an adventure for children. It’s our dream about Earth and what it might be like if we treat it the way an interstellar team treats their planet, Tara.”

US, September 27, 2022 / — A recently released new children’s book, TARRA: MISSION TO EARTH by Ina van der Velden, encourages young readers to sense life around them on a deeper level and open up to their extraordinary abilities.

“The biggest lesson in the book is that of purposeful adventure, self-love and awareness,” says van der Velden. “When we begin to treat nature and the Earth as a living organism, we begin to notice that what we feel, think, say and do affects not only the environment, but also our lives.”

Van der Velden says the book is about drawing attention and awareness to the major issues affecting our planet, citing topics such as pollution and negativity, and how to tackle them. “Without seeing and acknowledging the problems, we cannot create a happy world in which to live for our children and ourselves.”

She also points out that although the story is intended for children, it targets adults equally, allowing them to see and develop the inner child so that they see the world from the perspective of awareness and love, and will make their lives accordingly.

Van der Velden says, “At its core, this is a book for the inner children. All of them. You don’t have to be a parent, a future parent, or read for the purpose of working with children. This story is about awakening your inner child.”

In the book, Anthony and his friends Lacey, Audrey, Andy, and Sachs are interstellar travelers on a mission. They are tasked with saving the life of their home planet, Tara. A plague, known as the Dust of Fear, gripped Tara’s children in its bony fist, cutting their joy and creativity.

It’s up to Anthony and his cohorts to find a cure on Earth and urgently bring him home. It was believed that because of the close relationship between Tara and Earth, Planet Earth would help children make the antidote. Easier said than done! Earth is a tough place to navigate if you recently landed in the Milky Way.

Tara: A mission on Earth full of adventure and experiential activities. The door opens for the magic of Tara on the floor. She has hope that Earth will become a better place for all of us to live in.

As part of the book, the author offers a family companion, which allows readers to perform 34 tasks to help the characters complete their mission. COMPANION is for children and their parents/supervising adults. Each task consists of two parts: one for the child to complete and one as a guide for an adult to explore, think about, and help them complete the task.

The part about children opens up a deeper awareness of themselves, their latent supernatural abilities,
Earth and the elements of nature. Explores the hidden potential of the mind and takes
Few steps towards the unknown and the magical. Kids will all be accompanied by their favorite characters
The path from the beginning of their adventure to the glorious completion of the mission.

The adult section explains the tasks, ideas, concepts, and science behind them
they. It also suggests more topics to explore and in-depth discussions with your child along with resources at the back for further reading.

“Children learn best not when they are told how to do a particular task, but when they are encouraged to observe the world around them and learn its response to their actions,” van der Velden says. “I encourage young readers to touch, smell, feel, see and sense their environment – this is related to the current rise in forest school education, Montessori learning and nature treatments, but it goes deeper, helping to retain this wonderful energy as children become big.”

Amazon reviewer Susan Gilliam says, “Tara teaches us that we are all different with many gifts and talents. Through these differences and support, the five children have been able to fulfill their mission by working as a team.”

“This book is not just an adventure for children. It is our dream about Earth and what it could be if we treat it the way an interstellar team treats their planet, Tara. I recommend both children and adults to open ourselves up to a brighter future,” says Emin Aliyev, reviewer at Amazon site.

TARA: MISSION TO EARTH is available on Amazon and other popular retail outlets where books are sold.
